We use higher quality fibers across all of our core lines. We optimize garment quality and construction in order to minimize our fallout. We donate all of our imperfect garments to charity in order to minimize waste. We believe that we are creating high quality garments that are made to last a lifetime.
When it comes to our supplier base, we have a Supplier Code of Conduct in place that is aligned with ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work as well as the Ethical Trading initiative. For more information on our Code of Conduct.

Welles is also a member of 1% for the Planet, which means we're committed to donating at least 1% of annual revenue toward a healthier planet for all.
Absolutely! Our reusable packaging is made from a 100% bio-based plastic alternative derived from corn-starch that will fully compost within 24 weeks. Once it has served its purpose, please dispose of it responsibly in an industrial composting facility. While this is the best solution right now, we are working on creating something even better!
Yes! Welles is a member of “1% for the Planet”, an international organization whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual revenue to vetted causes that protect the environment. This donation is credibly third party certified. To date 1% members have donated over $350 million dollars to vetted environmental protection causes tackling six core issue areas: climate, food, pollution, water and wildlife.

Our proprietary fabric, Terral-X, is made from ocean-bound plastic that is recycled and infused with a breakthrough biomimetic technology called CiCLO™ to form a new performance fiber that will biodegrade at the end of its life-cycle.
CiCLO™ is a safe and effective, nature-based solution to mitigate synthetic microfiber pollution. When added, fibers remain ultra durable and high performance, yet in STARK contrast to the the main negative quality of standard polyester, won't remain in our environment forever through inevitable washing processes and at the ultimate end of its life-cycle.
We combine this with supremely soft and breathable viscose (a renewable cellulose) and super stretchy spandex (you still need to move!), to make a fabric unlike any other.
Fabric content is: 73% CiCLO™ Recycled Polyester // 23% Ecovero(TM) Viscose // 4% Spandex Elastane
Our state-of-the-art fabric is engineered to enhance performance much like athleisure. The natural fibers in our fabric allow it to feel supremely soft and breathable, while the durable eco-polyester wicks moisture away from the body keeping you cool and dry. Terral-X is finished with a Bluesign certified antimicrobial finish that ensures our scrubs are odor resistant.
No, to make a fabric stain resistant or water repellent, it must have a special finish that uses toxic “forever” chemicals called PFAS. Linked to numerous health concerns including cancer, liver and heart disease, these harmful chemicals run off from our laundry cycles and enter our water systems, forever persisting in our environment. Welles is committed to creating responsible, high performing products that don’t jeopardize the health of our community or environment, for that reason, we do not use any materials containing PFAS in our products.
We are proud to partner with factories in the USA, Asia and Central America, each of whom agrees to our code of conduct, audit and certification requirements. Our factories were carefully selected and vetted based on their fair labor standards and commitment to the highest standards for their workers with benefits such as on-site after-school childcare, transport and career advancement classes.

For a relaxed fit, Welles scrubs run true to size, for a tighter fit, choose one size down.
We currently stock sizes XS-3XL, with plans to expand sizing in late 2022.
We sure do! Both Men’s and Women’s Terral-X products are offered in petite and tall lengths. Refer to our fit guidelines for inseam lengths.
We have 7 core colors, Black, Navy, Royal Blue, Granite, Sky Blue, Peacock and Maroon, with tons of exciting color drops coming very soon!

We happily accept unworn, unwashed intact products within 14 days or purchase. All items must be returned with all original packaging and tags attached. Please note all items with personalized embroidery or marked “final sale” are not eligible for returns.

Absolutely! We offer embroidery for all scrub tops and jackets. Before adding the product to your shopping card, select “add embroidery” from the drop down menu and follow the steps to generate your embroidery. Email us at hi@livewelles.com to add logo embroidery.
We will cancel the order and issue a full refund if you contact us by email before your order has been processed in our warehouse. Typically, this occurs 24-48 hours after you place the order.

Our standard shipping is free for all domestic orders over $100. Shipping prices for orders under $100 are calculated at checkout based on location, and you can pick the rate/speed that suits your needs.
